Our new ward

So yesterday we decided to go to our new ward. We looked it up online and found out we were in the Ammon 9th ward at the church on John Adams, just down the road from us. Church was at 9 am, so we woke up at 7 to get ready and surprisingly enough I was actually ready on time and ate breakfast! :) So we drove to church, walked into the chapel, grabbed a program and sat down. When I looked at the program it said Ammon 23rd ward. I thought "Hmm thats weird, I know it said 9th ward at 9 am. Oh well, maybe the internet was wrong." So just then the bishop walks up and introduces himself. We told him where we moved into and he welcomed us to the ward. So I figured, hey if the bishop thought our address sounded ok then we must be in the right ward. We went to sunday school and introduced ourselves, then off to Relief Society and Priesthood to introduce ourselves again. I love that ward! The sacrament was actually reverent and done correctly, the sunday school teacher was amazing and the spirit in Relief Society was so strong! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It was amazing! I was so excited that we finally moved into a great ward! After church I walked out into the hallway to meet Mike who had a funny looking smile on his face. As we walked down the hallway to the doors, he whispers in my ear, "We are in the wrong ward". Uh.....so apparently there is another LDS church 2 blocks down on the same road, where the Ammon 9th ward meets at 9 am! I felt so dumb! I swear I met almost everyone in Relief Society and introduced ourselves in 3 different meetings, plus we loved the ward! :( Bummer. Well we need to get our temple recomends renewed ASAP because Michaels brother is getting ready to take his endowments out for his mission. So we drove 2 blocks down the street and caught the clerk, counselors and bishop of our REAL new ward. :) They are super nice too! They said new people go to the wrong ward alot and we all had a good laugh but I still feel kind of dumb. Everyone in the 23rd ward is going to wonder where we went! So now we get to go through the 1st Sunday in a new ward all over again! I hope the 9th ward is just as amazing as the 23rd ward. :)

I can see the one on John Adams and 45th from my backyard...practically is my backyard. Is that the same one? IF so that's funny cause we live really close.

I wish, we could walk there!!! We go to the one down the street by the Cottages or the Villas. Too bad, it would have been fun being in the same ward!
