Sold!

We decided to put our house on the market last month because we are planning on moving to Boise in January and we weren't sure how long it would take to sell. All the other houses in the neighborhood had been on the market for 6 months to a year so we figured if we give ourselves 7 months we should be safe....Well 2 weeks later we got an offer we couldn't refuse - except we had an 18 day escrow and sold the house the day we left on our 8 day vacation! By the time to got home from California we had only 10 days to pack and move everything we own! Talk about STRESS! Since we are planning on moving in about 6 months and cant move any sooner because of Mike's job, we decided it would be best to just bunk with family temporarily. So we moved just about everything into a storage unit and took over my parents basement. :( It's not perfect but we have the basement to ourselves and don't have any rent or mortgage for 6 months so we can't complain. Here are a few pictures of our house before it sold and after. It's kind of a bitter sweet thing but Mike and I are excited for the future and what it holds for us. :)

Maizy

This is our baby! Her name is Maizy and is almost a year old. The pictures are mangy Maizy before we shaved her and perky Maizy after she got shaved ! :) Doesn't even look like the same dog. :) She is so much fun to have around. She had a blast in the snow this winter and had to hop through the drifts in our back yard like a bunny! Her favorite toy to play with is a baseball...we can only hope that our real children will have the same interest as she does. :) She may be little but she is a fiesty little dog with a definite personality of her own. The other day she thought she was tough enough to take on a Pit Bull...not smart. We are so greatful to have her because she brings so much fun & life into our home. We hope that she will be a part of our family for many years to come. :)
